Our program is centered around three basic concepts, 1) Fundamentals, 2) Technique and 3) Character. We look to prepare each athlete for the next phase in their development.
Track is a sport based on fundamentals. This begins with the proper way to stretch and perform drills. These fundamentals will assist you in running more relaxed, strengthen and tone your muscles and make you less suseptable to injury.
The correct techniques must be taught and modelled so the correct mental image is established on how to perform specific motions. Repetition is vital in learning the correct technique. Old habits must be broken and new one established.
We teach to always give your very best. We strive to instill a "No Quit" attitude, and to always give your best effort. We want them to learn how to make good decisions that are not based on a comfort zome, but rather on a preferred future.
